Thanks for visiting my online CV and portfolio.
I’m a web producer who enjoys working at the intersection of people, content, and technology. I bring experience in web and database development, project management, online marketing, writing and editing, customer service, and media production. I’m especially drawn to roles that involve websites, content strategy, data, and user-focused communication.
My background began with writing and communication. While earning my undergraduate degree in English, I led writing workshops, and during my MFA program I tutored journalism students. Since then, I’ve written website copy, managed marketing campaigns, and produced newsletters—always focused on clearly communicating an organization’s value. Over time, that work expanded into design, including logos, business cards, websites, flyers, and publications.
I later turned to programming to make better use of the web as a publishing platform. I’ve worked with .NET, C#, VB, PHP, SQL, and more recently Ruby and PHP. Along the way, I’ve managed servers and databases; configured domains and SSL certificates; and installed, customized, and maintained content management systems and ecommerce platforms.
I’m comfortable wearing many hats to get a digital project across the finish line. Sometimes that means turning my office into a photography studio, producing short films, or engineering audio. Whatever the medium, my goal is always the same: to create and manage digital products that are clear, functional, and effective.
Recent projects include college websites and resources for the New York State Opportunity Promise, CUNY Brightspace faculty resources, the BCC Entrepreneurship & Hatchery page, a “digital garden” cantorial site, and a short film series website. For these projects, I led the content strategy, information architecture, design, and UX.
There’s more about my background in my resume.
Since you made it this far, let’s talk.
